Ninety-some preschoolers and kindergartners are off to a great start in The Incredible Race at Grace Bible Day Camp Junior! See a few pictures below from the first day!

On Day 1, our memory verse was Romans 3:23: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." In our Bible lesson, we explored the beginning of the human race and why nobody has run a perfect race through life.

Did you know there are over 2,000 times in the Bible that God talks about the nations? Every nation and people group is important to God! Today we traveled to South America and looked in the book of Genesis to learn some important lessons. We learned about times when people didn’t do what God told them to; but, instead, they did what they wanted to do. These people included Adam and Eve, their children, people living at the time of Noah, and people who built the Tower of Babel. When we disobey God, we sin. Every person since Adam and Eve was born a sinner, including you and me! We, too, have disobeyed God and need a Savior from sin, who is Jesus. Even though sin may seem enjoyable at the time, it’s always wrong to go against God.

But we’ve got the happiest news ever to share with you. It’s really, really, really, really good news! God has a plan to defeat sin, and it’s great news for each of you personally. We’re so excited to share more about it this week!

We were also very thankful for a nice day so we could run and play outside!

One of our favorite moments from the morning was learning how to have a snack attack!
