Both teams gave it their all for the last day on Mystery Island!

A group from each team led cheers in our morning opening, then we enjoyed one more morning rotation. Older groups played creative versions tug-of-war, and younger groups raced to build a marble-maze leading to their team's bucket.

We had a longer afternoon at the park, where we took an all-camp photo, had more time to talk with our counselors, and saw which team could thaw out a frozen t-shirt the fastest! We were thankful for great weather to play more games, including our favorite: the slip-and-slide!

Finally, we came back to the "island" for our closing ceremonies. We showed our parents what we've learned through the week and sang our favorite camp songs for them.

The most anticipated moment of the whole day was when Myster B showed us the final total of points for the week. Which team came out victorious? The Sand Commanders! The celebration was deafening. The Tide Riders were very close; but we know whichever team wins at Grace Bible Day Camp, God always wins!

Islanders discovered that God is trustworthy on the final day of Mystery Island. What He says, He will do. He said He will save us if we place our faith in Jesus. He said He will keep us once we are saved. He said we should bring our worries to Him. He said we should lean not on our own understanding but trust His ways. He doesn't give us all the answers, but we do know what’s in His word. He is perfect, and He causes all things to work together for good. He is so worthy to be trusted, praised, and worshipped. We must continue to trust Him every single day.

Our treasured memory verse for the day was Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."

We are sad to see all our islanders go, but it was so fun to hang out with their parents and families at our picnic after camp! See some pictures from our day below.

We had such a great week with our campers, and hope you can all join us next year on July 25-29, 2022, for another year of Grace Bible Day Camp!
