The temperature was as high as the waves, but we managed to stay cool at Grace Bible Day Camp -- after all, today was Surfer Dude/Superhero Day! You've never seen so many gnarly outfits, dude.

Our Bible theme for the day was Thank God! This was the first thing that Noah did when he got off the Ark. Our memory verse was 1 Thessalonians 5:18: "In everything give thanks, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

We are getting better and better at singing and cheering (not to mention louder and louder!). In the morning, we learned to fish with our toes, made our own fuzzy sea creatures, and earned points for remembering what we learned in lesson time.

Tommy Tsunami regaled us with tales of his adventures trying to catch a sting ray:

We love our teachers, snack ladies, and craft gurus! (A few fishies in our schools learned to braid today for the first time!)

Afternoon games kept us cool. We worked as teams to thaw a frozen t-shirt and fill a bucket with water from sponges held on our heads!

Tomorrow is Wear Your Team Color day! Wear as much orange or blue as you possibly can from head to toe!

And don't forget the special schedule for our last day: All parents are invited to our closing program at 4:45 and a picnic afterward!
