Friday at Grace Bible Day Camp
Friday was the last day of kingdom exploration at Grace Bible Day Camp!
It got a little warm when we ventured out of the caves on Wednesday. But we stayed cool and had a wonderful day 3 of Grace Bible Day Camp!
Our Bible lesson was that Jesus Gives Us Direction! When we acknowledge Him as Lord of our lives, He simply tells us what to do to please Him and makes our way clear. The Bible is full of directions for our lives.
Our memory verse was Proverbs 3:6: "In all your ways, acknowledge Him; and He will make your paths straight."
Today was Superhero Day! Both Magma Monsters and Lava Legends accomplished super-heroic feats to win points for their team! One Lava Legend dressed up as a police officer (including authentic hand cuffs!). He told us that police officers are his superheroes because they save lives, and that is his dad's job.
Tomorrow is Wacky Socks & Mismatched Clothes Day. Be as clashy as you can be!
We made cave slime in our morning craft. After games, we gave the snack ladies a big "thank you" for freeze pops to cool us down.
In the afternoon, we ventured out into the heat to play games at the park. First and second graders got to pelt the other team with water balloons while the third through sixth graders tried their hands at mattress surfing!
