Save the Date for Jungle Journey!

It's almost time for GBDC 2024: Jungle Journey!

Friday at Grace Bible Day Camp

Friday was the last day of kingdom exploration at Grace Bible Day Camp!

Thursday was Wacky Socks and Mismatch Day at Grace Bible Day Camp. Everyone looked so terrible (in a good way!).

Tomorrow is Team Spirit Day! Come dressed in your team color from head to foot!

Our Bible lesson was Jesus Gives Us Love! Jesus showed the ultimate love for us when He died for our sins on the cross. We learned that all we need to do to accept His love is to admit that we are sinners, believe in Jesus' sacrifice for us, and commit our lives to Him as our Lord. Those are the ABC's on the bracelets that our counselors gave out today.

Our memory verse was 1 John 3:16: "We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren."

We did a lot of singing today. We have two Bible songs in our cave choir repertoire, and Sparky the Spelunker taught us a song to sing when we go spelunking!

We made our own spelunking backpacks during craft time and played spoke tag in our morning rotation.

In the afternoon, we ran relay races with water balloons and battled over a giant beach ball. Even the counselors got into the fun!

Tomorrow we will extend our Cave Questing day at the park. When we get back to main cave chamber at church, we'll wrap up the week with team awards at 4:30, a closing program to show our parents what we've been learning, and a picnic for all our cavers' families. We hope you can all stay!
