Ordaining an Elder

Our church leadership and the congregation were thrilled to ordain one of our elders, Tony Iorillo, this summer!

Tony's ordination council was held on Friday, June 21. Our elders and a few guest pastors formed the council. As ordained men, they examined Tony's doctrine for faithfulness to the Scriptures. The whole congregation was invited to attend, listen, and observe the council if they were interested.

Tony was presented to the congregation for ordination on Sunday, June 23, during a special evening service. This was followed by a reception to celebrate the Lord's sovereignty in Tony's life and giving him to our church body!
