MINISTRIES
Children's Ministry
We are passionate about equipping our children with the truth of Scripture through loving instruction so that they may one day become men and women who love Christ, honor His Word, and serve in their church.

Mission & Activities
Our Theme Verse: "From childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus." - 2 Timothy 3:15
We are passionate about equipping our children with the truth of Scripture through loving instruction so that they may one day become men and women who love Christ, honor His Word, and serve in their church. Our children’s curriculum focuses on Bible truth presented in creative, fun, and memorable ways.
Kids 4 Truth Bible Club
Wednesday Evenings (School Year)
This club offers children an exciting way to explore their faith through singing, memorizing Bible verses, and earning badges—all while building a genuine relationship with God. The program uses a unified curriculum that deepens as your child grows, ensuring age-appropriate lessons for everyone (grades 2-6).
We believe parents and grandparents are the most important spiritual influencers in a child’s life (2 Timothy 1:5). That's why we prioritize communication with families, providing email updates, discussion guides, and opportunities to reinforce what your children are learning. Join us in nurturing young hearts and minds to know and love God.
Grace Kids Summer Club
Wednesday Evenings (Summer Break)
On Wednesday nights during summer, our kids get a break from memorizing verses. They will attend a short and simple Bible lesson, followed by weather-dependent outdoor/indoor games. To encourage participation, the children will be motivated with rewards all summer long.
Our summer fun culminates on Field Day, including a thrilling pine car derby tournament with special prizes and a photo finish! Join us for a season of joy, friendship, and a whole lot of fun.
Sunday School
Sunday Mornings
On Sunday mornings at 9 a.m., we teach our children that the Bible has the answers! Our Sunday school classes are divided by grades and led by teachers in conversational instruction.
Junior Church
Sunday Mornings
As the adults worship on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m., we teach our children how to worship too. Teacher-led multimedia instruction reinforces the theme that God is the Hero of every story!

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
We firmly believe that parents are the primary disciple-makers in their children’s lives. We are here to guide and collectively aid in your disciple-making efforts. This means we would love to see you worship with your children in the auditorium during the morning and evening worship services on Sundays.
Our Sunday morning Life Groups and Wednesday night Bible studies are more age-specific, so we would request that your children attend the Children's Ministry offerings for those meetings. If you have reservation about this, please reach out.
Our children's ministry serves infants through 5th graders, with age-specific classes and programs designed to provide engaging and age-appropriate spiritual learning. For middle and high schoolers, check out our Youth Group.
Please accompany your children to the Grace Kids childcare wing; enter through the glass doors straight inside our main building entrance. The childcare coordinator will ask you to enter your family information into our system. This allows us to print labels for your children and provide you with a pickup tag. Then you and your children will be escorted to the appropriate rooms.
Once you have registered your children, the childcare coordinator or another volunteer will usher you upstairs to the elementary classrooms. Children will need to be picked up in both locations.
When you register your child, we will ask you to enter your phone number into our system. If your child needs you, we can send a text message through the automated system to your phone (so be watching for an unfamiliar number). If you don't arrive in a couple minutes, a childcare worker or usher will seek to locate you.
We also have pagers that can be provided for parents with children in the nursery. Please return these at the end of the service when you pick your child up.
There is no need to visit the childcare welcome desk on subsequent visits. If you have already registered your children, find a self-check-in station in one of 3 locations (in the nursery wing, in the stairwell by the elevator, and at the top of the stairs in the educational wing). Enter the last four digits of your cell phone number and check your children in for the hours they are remaining in childcare. Give them their labels, then you can take the directly to their classrooms.
Safety is a priority we take seriously at Grace. All volunteers and staff working with children undergo background checks and receive ongoing reminders of appropriate behavior. We also have a secure check-in/check-out system to ensure that only authorized adults can pick up children. See our Child Safety Resource for more detail.
We ask that children who have shown symptoms of illness (fever, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.) in the past 24 hours stay home to ensure a healthy environment for everyone. We also have hand sanitizer readily available and follow regular cleaning protocols in all classrooms. See our Child Safety Resource for more detail.
Our staff does have a diaper-changing policy and proper equipment in the rooms to provide this service. Please bring enough diapers and wipes for the time they will be in childcare. If you desire to be the only one to change their diapers, we can text you through our system if they need to be changed. We provide care for infants, one-year-olds, and two-year-olds in separate rooms.
We provide one activity (Sundays) and one memory verse (Wednesdays) per week to elementary children. We recommend that parents complete these together with their children. Any additional activities or crafts that go home with children can be used to review that week’s lesson.
We have more in-depth curriculum for our families to work through with their children. Find out more about our “Foundations for Students” material here. We will also have a recommended book list for kids coming soon!
We love parent involvement! There are many opportunities to volunteer, from teaching and assisting in classrooms to helping with special events. Please see our children's ministry application to get started.
