Mother's Day this year found us in the middle of restrictions on gatherings. Our pastors at Grace still found ways to make it a special weekend for the mothers in our church family!

We know moms always love taking family pictures, especially on Mother's Day. It's harder to do when staying at home! On Saturday afternoon, families were invited to stop by the church building to have a free family picture taken by a photographer in our church. A space was decorated in the auditorium, and social distance protocols were carefully followed. Families of all sizes showed up for the opportunity! Special thanks to Patsy Hixson for taking the photos!

All ladies could also drive by and pick up a special gift of chocolate and flowers.

Sunday's livestreamed service featured heartwarming videos from many fathers, children, and teens about the blessing of our mothers. We were also introduced to several new babies through video!

On Sunday evening, a special viewing of Sight & Sound's Noah production was broadcast from the church website (with permission) for families to enjoy!

All these special touches made for a memorable and encouraging Mother's Day in 2020.
