Our annual meeting at Grace Church of Mentor is so much more than the typical church business meeting. There are always a few matters to discuss and vote on, but we love to keep the focus on celebrating the faithfulness of saints in our congregation!

This year, Pastor Tim began by reviewing where we are in the One Legacy Through Grace process. Mr. Dave Hixson gave a financial overview and reviewed the proposed budget for 2015-2016. Pastor Steve introduced the new availability of online giving.

The highlight of the service is when Pastor Tim gives out member awards. Members are honored for their years of commitment to the church.

10 year awards went to Nick Bair, Sue Bair, Mike Sabo, Matt Kubiak, Marlene Trivisonno, Tony D’Abate, Jayme and Katie Knutson, and Mark and Angela Yoo.

Eric Hixson, Peg Sharpe, Randy and Pam Beck, and John and Bernadette Pelletier were recognized for 20 years of membership at Grace.

Sandy Brandt, Bob and Linda Gray, and Alan and Brenda Smetana have been members of Grace for 30 years!

Special service awards were given to several members chosen by Pastor Tim for their faithful examples.

• Kay Bair for her faithful Titus 2 teaching and ministry.
• Leah Andrews for faithfully ministering in the Sunday school nursery for 10 years.
• Deb Catania for faithfully and unselfishly ministering to M&M saints in their homes and while in the hospitals.
• Marilyn Ennen and Peg Sharpe for their service as greeters before Sunday school
• Phil Hruska for providing transportation for guests during each church plant conference even in Florida.

The Lago Award for faithful service was given to Ralph and Charlene Doles.
