Our first day of Grace Bible Day Camp started at Base Camp with an elevation of 2 feet. By the end of the week, our goal is to summit the extreme height of 29,029 feet!

Today's theme was Extreme Thankfulness. In lesson time, we learned that Noah was thankful for God's grace, and we should be too! Our memory verse was 1 Thessalonians 5:18: "In everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

Campers enjoyed a snack of M&M cookies, posed with mountain-climbing props for a picture craft, and climbed a real rock wall during game time! Life-sized Jenga, Kickball, and Nine-square were also a hit.

Monday is all about getting to know your ascent team: Guides (counselors) and fellow climbers.

Our last assembly featured four brave souls who entered a stare-down with Rudolph the Rockin' Sockin' Ram! Can you tell who won?

Come back tomorrow for more fun as we learn that God always wins!
