Our first year of Grace Bible Day Camp Junior is off to a great start!

On Day 1, we learned to Obey God. Our memory verse was John 14:15: "If you love Me, keep My commandments."

In our Bible lesson, we learned that God gave Noah directions and many years to build a huge boat called the Ark. Noah followed God’s directions exactly, and before the flood began God sent animals—even dinosaurs—to the Ark. Noah, his family, and the animals were on the Ark for about a year. By God’s grace, Noah obeyed God completely and right away. The Bible tells us that if we love God we will obey Him. Just like Noah, we can rely on God to help us obey Him, no matter what.

On Day 2, we learned to Trust God. Our memory verse was Psalm 31:14: "I trust in you, O Lord."

In our Bible lesson, we learned more about what happened when Noah finished building the Ark. God told Noah to take 2 of some kinds of animals and 7 of others onto the Ark. But Noah didn’t have to gather the animals; God sent them into the Ark in pairs and then closed the door. The Flood was so big that it covered the mountains! The people and animals on the Ark were the only things that lived through the Flood. Just like Noah, we can rely on God to help us trust Him with our lives.
