Our One Legacy teams give rotating monthly updates to keep the congregation informed. Below is the Equip team's update for June.

The Equip team's vision statement: We will lead every saint at Grace Church from spiritual immaturity to maturity in Christ-likeness until Jesus returns.

This month's update will focus on exciting happenings in our ministry to children!

New Tools for Discipling Children

This month, we will have a new edition of the Foundations book! Below is a sneak peek at Foundations for Students. Unit 1 has 12 lessons which cover the first 4 chapters of Foundations. Can you guess which topic each graphic illustrates? (We'll give you a reminder of the topics as a help.)

  1. Salvation, God's Gift to You
  2. Eternal Security, Your Relationship with God
  3. Confession of Sin, Your Fellowship with God
  4. Baptism and Communion, Your Remembrance of Christ

Throughout this past year, we have reshaped our children’s Sunday School curriculum to give our children the tools they will need to be lights in this world rather than be conformed to it. We have taken a decidedly apologetic approach in Sunday school, while retaining Old and New Testament content in our child care wing and Junior Church. Starting this summer, we are implementing a new curriculum in our Sunday night Little Lights classes that will help our children learn Bible stories in a fun and engaging way.

Summer Intern

Brandon Teske is serving at Grace as an intern this summer. He has already been helping Pastor Kent with children's ministry on Sundays and Wednesdays. As part of our development of future leaders in the local church, pray that this is a time of learning and growing for all!

Please continue to pray for the spiritual growth of our children! If you have questions or would like to help with any aspect of discipling our children, please contact me.
