Our first One Legacy update of the New Year is from the Equip team!

The Equip team's vision statement: We will lead every saint at Grace Church from spiritual immaturity to maturity in Christ-likeness until Jesus returns.

Simply Blessed through Bible Study

We have just published a new volume in the Grace Discipleship Series! Simply Blessed is a guide for how to study the Bible for yourself using just the Word of God with the help of the Holy Spirit. This method helps the student of the Bible get the most meaning out of each word and phrase through a verse-by-verse examination of passages. The study guide uses Philippians 1 as an example text.

We will be unveiling Simply Blessed for the pastors' wives who attend our Arch National Fellowship in Florida this January. It will be available to our people for purchase as well.

Much thanks is due to Sharon Battig, Deb Catania, and all the ladies in the Wednesday night Bible study for producing and refining this material! Our prayer is that many will continue to benefit from it.

Goals for 2018

It's time to look forward to our disciple-making goals for the next year! All 3 One Legacy teams will be sharing their goals with the congregation in the coming days. Here is a preview of the Equip team's goals for 2018:

1. Lord willing, by December 2018, the Equip roll-out team will put in print for addition to our disciple-making resources a Bible study method entitled Simply Blessed.

2. Lord willing, by December 2018, the Equip roll-out team will aid parents as primary disciplers of their children by putting into print a “beta” version of our Foundations material written on a mid-elementary level with appropriate accoutrements to motivate young minds to interact with the material.

3. Lord willing, by December 2018, the Equip roll-out team will implement a series of simple, repeatable leadership development actions in partial fulfillment of the 2 Timothy 2:2 mandate.

4. Lord willing, by December 2018, the Equip roll-out team will aid both disciplers and disciples in manifesting the manifold grace of God here at Grace Church (1 Peter 4:10-11) by making available on GCM Online a pastoral approved spiritual gift assessment.

5. Lord willing, by December 2018, the Equip roll-out team will make available to the elders in a single place leading indicators and tracking indicators of spiritual health here at Grace.
