Our One Legacy teams give rotating monthly updates to keep the congregation informed. Below is the Glory team's update for the month of October.

The Glory team's vision statement: We will carefully plan to expand and advance our physical assets and oversee souls according to our church mission statement.

Progress toward Our Next Building

Where are we with the One Legacy building project?

Progress by Numbers:

$20,000 — Average monthly One Legacy giving!

$460,000 — Current One Legacy Balance

Progress with Our Current Facility

While we continue to focus our energies on the new property, we are thankful for the one God has provided. One of the Glory Team’s purposes is to efficiently utilize and appropriately maintain our property to provide space to worship, disciple, and evangelize. We want to publicly thank those who helped with the fence in the back parking lot and upgraded light pole installations (one is done, and two more will be installed in the next few weeks). Because of their help, we are able to keep our property welcoming for new visitors and continue to maintain our relationship with our neighbors — two mission-critical aspects our facility efforts. Additionally, we have saved over $15,000 by doing the work ourselves. If you are interested in helping out with projects like these and developing more relationships along the way, call Zach Miley at the church office (440-255-7045) or email him ().

Continue to pray for wisdom as we seek to balance the efficient maintenance of our current property and look to the property on Adkins Road.

Pray

This summer, we again applied for a grant offered to churches that are seeking to build worship spaces. We have applied in previous years, but the grant desired to see more cash assets designated towards the project. This year, we took a different approach and asked them to consider helping us with the understanding that we had 2.7 million of assets we would sell (our current property) once we were able to move. Please pray that we would continue to grow in doing our part (building our One Legacy cash assets) and that the foundation would fund our grant request. We will be notified if we made the second round of the grant process by the end of October.

Remember

We long to be an outstanding testimony to our community through the relationships God gives us. We are confident that God will continue to bless His Word in those relationships, and we want to be ready to nurture souls that will in turn have the same burden for people. To that end, please take the next few minutes and re-watch (or watch) the building animation and consider what God can do when we focus on what is most important.
