Glory Team Updates

Our One Legacy teams give rotating monthly updates to keep the congregation informed. Below is the Glory team's update for the month of January.
The Glory team's vision statement: We will carefully plan to expand and advance our physical assets and oversee souls according to our church mission statement.
New Neighbors
Since purchasing the property on Adkins Road, we have had multiple chances to meet and greet our new neighbors. One Saturday morning, several men from church formed a work party to remove dead trees along the property line. In early December, we put together gift bags for our neighbors including homemade cookies (thank you, Chelsae Pierce!), hot chocolate, mugs, and an invitation to our Christmas program. These were received positively, and we were even invited into a few homes. It's never too early to start building redemptive relationships with our future neighbors!
Praying and Planning
$274,267.38
This is the current balance of our One Legacy Funds. You may remember our former goal to raise 1/3 of estimated costs before starting construction documents. If we use a similar plan, our first estimated goal is to raise $2.9 million before beginning construction documents for our first phase on our new property. Please pray earnestly that God would continue to provide!
We are still working on a master plan as we seek to accomplish our 2030 vision. You can review the 2030 vision and all its supporting documentation at gcmlegacy.com. This plan will include a rendering of our future building and options for selling current church properties (or retaining them). Please pray earnestly for wisdom!
