We’re looking forward to our annual meeting coming up! Our annual meeting has 2 parts.
Celebration: On Sunday evening, March 27, we will celebrate what God’s grace has done among us as a church family in the past year and look forward to what He will do through us in the year to come.
Vote: The following Sunday, April 3, will be our annual vote, held right after the morning service. That vote will include 7 leadership nominations that were posted earlier this month and our budget for the coming year. (Please review the budget here and nominations here).
You may recall that we passed several Constitutional amendments last year, one of which allows for absentee ballots. The guidelines for requesting an absentee ballot are as follows:
Ballots will be accepted at the discretion of the elders for active members in good standing who are unable to attend in person due to travel or health. An Absentee ballot must be requested one week prior to the meeting, received by the church one business day prior to the meeting, and will not be anonymous. Members who are approved for absentee ballots shall be removed from the eligible voting roster for in-person voting for that meeting.
If you fit the qualifications, you may request an absentee ballot here. You must request this by Sunday, March 27. You will be notified by email if your application is approved and given instructions to fill our your absentee ballot. The ballot must be returned to the office by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 1.
Don’t hesitate to contact the office if you have any questions on these items. We look forward to seeing what the Spirit of God will continue to do among us in the year to come!
