Thursday was the last day of kingdom exploration at Grace Bible Day Camp Junior!

Our memory verse today was Ephesians 6:17-18a: "And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, praying."

The final day of our kingdom quest was a blast! We put all the armor of God together to have the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit. This week, knights learned that of the two kingdoms, they must choose a side. They can choose God’s kingdom by accepting Jesus as their Savior King. Once on His side, He gives armor to fight. He teaches us how to train our brain to obey Him through the Spirit. Good knights accept their King and obey their Lord!

After our rotation, we welcomed our parents and siblings to our final closing assembly. Our now-seasoned "knights" showed their families all the verses and songs they learned this week, then we all enjoyed a picnic together. We're thankful that the rain held off for our feast, and we're so glad to have met all of you.

We'd love to see you again for one of our regular meetings at church!
