We were thrilled to welcome 240 children as we traveled to the land of two kingdoms today at Grace Bible Day Camp! We have a lot of fun pictures to share from the first day.

On Day 1, our memory verse was Ephesians 6:10-11a, "Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the whole armor of God."

The troops began the week learning the ins and outs of the kingdom. They traveled to games on the green, treats in the town, crafts in the courtyard, and truth talks in the keep. In the afternoon, we traveled to a park and had a photo scavenger hunt with our groups. Each "troop" of campers is led by their "noble" counselors. The whole week is a battle between the Red Raiders and the Navy Knights, competing for points to see which team will be victorious in the end!

Most importantly, the troops learned that there are two kingdoms to choose from. There is the good kingdom ruled by the Creator King, God. There is also a bad kingdom ruled by Satan. When Satan deceived Adam and Eve, sin entered the world and created a divide between man and God. Thus, there are two kingdoms, one built on lies and the other built on truth. We will learn more about these kingdoms throughout the week. We hope you're excited to come back for more fun tomorrow!
