On June 16, the Youth Group made a trip down to Kentucky for an overnight adventure at the Ark Encounter!
Over 30 teens came along with some of the youth leaders and their kids. Right off the bat, five hours in the car provided some great fellowship time. The group arrived in the evening and got to sleep over IN the Ark! It was a special treat having the whole place to themselves for the night. The next day, they took in the exhibits, learned a lot about the Bible's account of history, and met a few animals. The Ark did a great job of teaching what the Bible says and showing how things could have looked where the Bible is not specific. Some of the teens also took advantage of the opportunity to zipline.
After a full day, they traveled back to the church, exhausted but full from a rich experience together.
