Forty-some teens and youth leaders made the trek to Camp Carl for this year's Youth Retreat, a weekend full of fellowship, food, and games. The Youth Group learned from God's Word, worshiped together, and grew closer as a group.
Focused times of preaching and group devotions all kept with the theme of being teens that God is making worthy according to His calling (from 2 Thessalonians 1:11). The spiritual goal was to love each other more. This was accomplished as friendships were deepened and new ones were formed. The group bonded during team-building activities, group games, and cheering each other on as they tackled a climbing wall. Several guests were welcomed to the group, and everyone agreed they are looking forward to another retreat next year!
