In between projects, the team had a lot of time to bond as a group. It was fun for the Youth Group and College & Career members to get to know each other better! They had group devotionals, prayed together, prepared meals together, played games, and even broke out in song once or twice. And of course, they always enjoyed good food after walking outside so much.
Saturday morning was spent preparing for the carnival and cleaning the church. 8 game booths were set up, plus 2 bounce houses, face painting, snow cones, and a cookout. Over 100 non-church-members came! Please pray that many of these turn into regular contacts for Arise to share the Gospel.
Sunday was a chance to fellowship with nearly the whole church family. Part of the team provided special music for the morning service. God has placed Arise Baptist Church in a diverse area and has blessed them with growth in the year and a half they have been there!
