Friday afternoon was the group's fun day. They visited the Galleria, the biggest mall in Texas, for lunch and some ice skating. Then they drove south to Galveston where they rode a ferry, visited the historic Pleasure Pier, and dipped their toes in the Gulf. Another evening, they were introduced to the biggest gas station in Texas: Buc-ee's!
Before they knew it, Monday had come again, and it was time to leave! After cleaning up their living spaces, the team headed back to the airport. Mechanical trouble delayed their flight until the next day, but a few vouchers, shuttle rides, a hotel stay, and 24 hours later, they were safe and sound in Mentor again.
